One of the perks of writing this little blog is that every now and then a fortuitous opportunity comes along that gets me super excited. This time it was in the form of bed sheets! I kid you not when I say that literally the week before, Honey ripped our old and very well loved ones with his toenail. (I'll let that image sink in for a minute.) The rip was at least two feet long and was beyond repair. In the days that followed, I spent an ungodly amount of time researching sheets, thread count, finishing, materials and likes. I even took one of the pillow cases with me to the store for comparison purposes. And, in spite of it all, I really couldn't make heads or tails of what to get. That's precisely when Perfect Linens entered the picture. Out of nowhere they offered to send me a set of sheets for review and I was IN.
I chose the Eternally Drapeful sheets with a scallop edge in laurel blue. Not only are they lovely, but they are really quite luxurious to sleep on! They are 100% cotton with double-ply yarns and a 400 thread count. We've washed them once and have slept on them for two weeks now. I'm pretty much in love!! We have a deep mattress and the fitted sheet is perfect. I also love how generous the flat sheet is in size - both on the sides of the bed AND in that there is plenty lengthwise to fold down.
These sheets are a lovely addition to our master suite. I've had a long time crush on scallop edged sheets!!
