Another thing on Honey’s Disney bucket list has been to meander around the World Showcase, stopping to eat and drink as he wanted. Well, with Flower & Garden Festival in full swing and a smattering of outdoor kitchens, it was just the perfect time to finally do it!
Our first stop was Urban Farm Eats for the kale salad and ghost pepper dusted tilapia. We paired it with some sort of fruity cider that was really yummy.
And, while there were a number of other things we tried, this steamed bun in China was still a fave!
We even had time to sit on a bench and listen to the live music. Things we don’t do with the littles in tow…
I had made a few fast passes for the late afternoon. We also popped in the Tomorrowland extended preview which has us both excited for the movie later this month!
After a late afternoon pick-me-up (Honey could have slayed me), we were off to din din at Le Cellier in Canada. Another Disney first for us!
It is beautifully tucked back off the main stretch and we had time to see O Canada while we waited.
We completely and utterly gorged and everything was really delicious!! I’m going to be honest here and say that after eating around the world we weren’t starving for steaks. So… I think we picked five appetizers and went to town. It was a GREAT choice and we got to try so many things!
After dinner we met up with my sweet friend "Disneyfied Ash" and her soon-to-be husband for drinks at Rose and Crown.
And theeeeeennnnnnnnn, we got into TRADER SAM’S Grog Grotto. Say whaaaaaaaaattttttttttt?!!!?!?!?! We were beyond excited to finally make our way to this coveted spot in the Polynesian. It just might be the most interesting, eclectic and FUN corner of Disney!! If you go, you must order one of the specialty cocktails. Ours came with fire, and cinnamon throwing and Uh Oa’s glowing eyes from across the room. It was quite the spectacle!
We literally closed the place down. It was another late night but a perfect day all around!!!!!!!
xoxo
